COde of conduct

At Her Career, our mission is to create a supportive, empowering, and inclusive community where women and marginalized genders can thrive in their careers and personal lives. To maintain a positive and respectful environment, all members are expected to adhere to the following Code of Conduct:

Respect and Dignity

- Treat all members with respect, kindness, and consideration. Discrimination, harassment, or any form of disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.

- Acknowledge and value the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives within our community. Every voice matters, and everyone deserves to be heard.

Inclusivity and Diversity

- Promote an inclusive environment where all individuals, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic, feel welcome and supported.

- Actively contribute to creating a space that celebrates diversity and encourages open, respectful dialogue.

Integrity and Honesty

- Be truthful and transparent in all interactions. This includes representing your identity, experience, and qualifications accurately.

- Uphold the highest standards of integrity in all professional and personal dealings within the community.

Confidentiality and Privacy

- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other members. Information shared within the community should not be disclosed outside the group without explicit permission.

- Do not share member resources, mentor details, or any other proprietary information provided by Her Career without obtaining written consent from Her Career. Violations of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of membership.

- Handle sensitive or personal information with care and discretion.

Collaboration and Support

- Engage with other members in a spirit of collaboration and mutual support. Share knowledge, experiences, and resources to help each other succeed.

- Offer constructive feedback and mentorship, and be open to receiving the same from others.

Professionalism

- Conduct yourself with professionalism in all community interactions, whether online or in person. This includes communicating respectfully and responsibly.

- Avoid any behavior that could damage the reputation of Her Career or its members.

Active Participation

- Be an active participant in the community by attending events, contributing to discussions, and supporting fellow members.

- Strive to give as much as you receive from the community, whether through sharing insights, mentoring others, or contributing to group activities.

Accountability

- Take responsibility for your actions and behavior within the community. If a conflict or issue arises, address it promptly and respectfully.

- Abide by this Code of Conduct at all times. Failure to do so may result in the suspension or termination of your membership.

Commitment to Growth

- Embrace continuous learning and self-improvement, both personally and professionally. Support others in their journey to grow and develop.

- Encourage innovation and the sharing of new ideas, helping to drive progress within the community.

Zero Tolerance for Misconduct

- Any form of bullying, harassment, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate action, which may include removal from the community.

- Report any violations of this Code of Conduct to the Her Career team, who will address the issue promptly and fairly.
